Ministries

At United Community Baptist Church, there is a place for everyone who wants to be actively engaged in the work of the Lord.  We believe that as long as a person is committed to the Christian faith and is willing to serve in the Master's vineyard, Christ will use that person to bring glory to His name.  We encourage everyone to "grow where you are planted."  God will use you as long as you are willing to be used by Him

Music Ministry

The scripture is replete with references to music: for worship, for comfort, in praising, in battle.  Music, both vocal and instrumental, has a place and a purpose in worship and should not be taken lightly.  There is power when we sing together to the glory of God. It is edifying. Music in worship has multifaceted effects which reside in continuous worship of God.

We will obey the Psalm 67:3-4a which states, "Let the people praise Thee, O God; Let all the people praise Thee.  Let the nations be glad and sing for joy" . God requires us to praise Him with all our strength. We therefore participate so we can grow and do wonders for God through music here at UCBC.

The United Community Baptist Church Outreach Feeding Program is part of the church's program to serve the community beyond the walls of the church with the hope of meeting the needs of the people.

Approximately 250 clients are served monthly. The program is advertised in the weekly church bulletin , laundromats and by word-of-mouth. Hot nutritious meals are served every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. The feedback from the clients on the food and service they receive has been positive over the years.

The church has been very involved and supportive since the inception of the program, and most of the volunteers are members of the church, as well as family members and friends. We are very happy to serve while "Sharing God's Love".
